# OLED Suggested Settings

Monitor settings: **TURN OFF HDR IN WINDOWS SETTINGS FIRST**

* Game:
  * Preset Modes: Creator
    * Color space: DCI-P3
    * Gamma: 2.6
* Brightness/Contrast:
  * Brightness 100%
  * Contrast 75%
* Display:
  * Sharpness: 60% or more
  * Smart HDR: DisplayHDR True Black&#x20;
  * Dolby Vision: Up to you, usually breaks and ends up on Game most of the time anyways

**TURN HDR BACK ON**

Download 'Windows HDR Calibration' from Windows Store

1. Calibrate your monitor using it
   1. 400 on both brightness sections, 0 on darkness section
      1. AW3225QF / Other Dolby Vision Monitors: 500 instead of 400
   2. Have the enhancement slider at the end all way at 0
2. Windows Settings > Display > HDR
   1. Make sure your new color profile is in use
   2. Turn on Auto HDR
   3. Make sure 'Use Dolby Vision' is on | Ignore if your monitor doesn't support
   4. SDR Content Brightness slider to 60%
3. Windows Settings > Apps > Video Playback
   1. Turn on 'Process video automatically to enhance it (depends on your device's hardware)'

* Change Resolution:
  * Your max refresh rate
  * Use NVIDIA color settings:&#x20;
    * Desktop color depth: 32-bit
    * Output color depth: 8-bit or 10-bit (if it's supported) | 12-bit for OLED
    * Output color format: RGB
    * Output dynamic range: FULL
* Display:
  * Change Resolution:
    * Use NVIDIA color settings:&#x20;
      * Desktop color depth: 32-bit
      * Output color depth: 8-bit or 10-bit (if it's supported) | 12-bit for OLED
      * Output color format: RGB
      * Output dynamic range: FULL
  * Adjust desktop colour settings:
    * Brightness: 20% (If you feel it's too dark, inverse them. Set this to 40-50% and SDR brightness in Windows to 20%)
    * Contrast: 100%
    * Gamma: 1.2
    * Digital Vibrance: 65% (I use 80%)
* Video:
  * Adjust video image settings:
    * Turn on the RTX Video Enhancement settings
