  1. Right click desktop, Display settings, change main display to your main monitor.

    • Both monitors should be on 100% scaling, just for app compatibility sake.

      • Side note: You can have your secondary monitor(s) at a different scaling. Just have the one you play games on as 100%.

  2. Right click desktop, Nvidia Control Panel

    • 3D Settings:

      • Adjust image settings with preview:

        • Use the advanced 3D image settings

      • Managed 3D settings:

        • Low Latency Mode: On // Ultra causes performance loss of up to 20% in some titles that don't support reflex.

        • Max Frame Rate: || ONLY IF YOU USE GSYNC

          • maxfreq - (maxfreq * maxfreq) / 3600

            120 - (120 * 120) / 3600.0 = 116hz

            144 - (144 * 144) / 3600.0 = 138.24hz

            240 - (240 * 240) / 3600.0 = 224hz

            360 - (360 * 360) / 3600.0 = 324hz

            480 - (480 * 480) / 3600.0 = 416hz

        • Power management mode: Prefer maximum performance

        • Vertical Sync: Fast || ONLY IF YOU USE GSYNC

    • Display:

      • Change Resolution:

        • Your max refresh rate

        • Use NVIDIA color settings:

          • Desktop color depth: 32-bit

          • Output color depth: 8-bit or 10-bit (if it's supported) | 12-bit for OLED

          • Output color format: RGB

          • Output dynamic range: FULL

      • Adjust desktop color settings:

        • For more saturation or just competitive edge:

          • Turn up digital vibrance, I recommend 60-80%

            • I use 60% personally

            • Remember to tweak your monitor settings too (Brightness, Contrast, Saturation)

            • Do not overdo this, check using something like Red Dead Redemptions' cover art

              • Make sure you can still easily spot out the 5 horsemen (don't blend them into background)

      • Set up G-SYNC

        • Make sure it's enabled if your monitor is compatible (doesn't mean you have to use it, but if you do, use it alongside those marked for GSYNC COMPATIBLE MONITOR ONLY)

      • Optionals:

        • Adjust desktop size and position: STRETCHED RES / MULTI-MONITOR SETUP

          • Full-screen

          • Scaling on: GPU

          • Tick "override games"
