Windows - Setting up

1. Settings > Time & Language > Date & time > "Sync now"

   1. Internet connection required.

2. Settings > Windows Update > Do all of em

3. Restart and check until nothing appears

4. Open up a command prompt in admin, type in "sfc /scannow"

   • Just in case your install was downloaded corrupted

5. Restart

6. Install this:

   • https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe

   • Restart

7. Turn on "System restore" for your C: drive

   • Just type "Create a restore point" into your start menus

   • "Configure" and enable, space is up to you.

   • Create a restore point now.
