Audio
Windows (Audio):
Always use highest bit depth possible to you (16-bit, 24-bit, 32-bit)
For playback, use 48khz.
99% of audio is distributed in 44.1khz (downsampling for 44.1khz but maintaining perfect quality when you do come across 48khz content. Downsampling OK, Upsampling GTFO).
Untick all options under "Exclusive mode" in the "Advanced" tab
If you passthrough your audio, sync up the bit-depth and sample rates to the highest possible.
I.E. Passthrough is limited to 24-bit 48khz but you can do 32-bit 384khz
Place all on 24-bit 48khz
Nvidia Broadcast is a perfect example of this but also not, it will auto resample your audio to 16-bit 44.1khz.
Playback and recording can be on seperate bit-depths and sample rates
Personally:
Playback (DAC): 32-bit 192khz
Recording (AMP): 2 channel 24-bit 96khz
