Drivers - Cleaning

1. Download Nvidia drivers in advance,:

   1. Older GPUs -> 537.58

   2. RTX 40xx -> 561.09 or 566.36

   3. RTX 50xx -> Latest (lol)

2. Press "Win + R" to open the run menu

   • Type in "msconfig", press enter

   • Go to "Boot"

   • You should only see your current OS here, just 1 entry, if not, one of your drives are fucky and was used for page files.

     • Purge the ones not listed as "Current OS"

   • Tick Safe boot, apply, restart.

3. In Safe mode:

   • Open DDU

   • One of the options prevents windows from reinstalling drivers, tick it, press ok

   • Right side:

     • Select GPU

     • Select Nvidia

   • Left side:

     • Click "Clean and restart (Recommended)"

     • It will auto restart windows as part of the process.
